PEIL utilizes state-of-the-art equipment to complete our topographical surveys quickly and efficiently. We utilize one-man automated Total Stations as well as conventional two-man stations and laser levels. As well, on large, open sites, we utilize GPS survey equipment to collect topographical information.

Once our field survey is complete, we have a full range of in-house services including contour generation, base plan preparation, 3-D terrain modeling and rendering, etc. Once a grading design is complete, we use our software to prepare cut/fill plans and to generate earth volumes to assist in job cost estimation and in the preparation of tenders.

When a job goes to construction, our survey crews are well experienced in providing layout services. Total Station is the ideal equipment for completing layout using a coordinate system (i.e., northing, easting, and elevation). In the preparation of as-built drawings, our survey crews are used to accurately locate the as-constructed infrastructure so our drafters can prepare the required plans.
