MUNICIPAL ENGINEERING

With the increasing age of our municipal infrastructure, and the ever-increasing traffic demands on our road networks, PEIL is increasingly assisting municipal governments in the evaluation and reconstruction/expansion of its infrastructure including municipal servicing (sewers, watermains, pump stations, watercourses), roads (local, collector and arterials), and structures.

PEIL's Municipal Engineering department has and continually works on a variety of projects ranging from small studies to the design and construction of multi-million dollar projects.

The expertise in our Municipal Engineering department encompasses a number of areas, including:

• Topographical surveying (GPS and Total Station)
• Base plan preparation
• Environmental assessments
• Acoustical Studies (transportation and stationary sources)
• Preliminary and final design
• Water resources (hydraulics, hydrology, SWM)
• Fluvial geomorphology (study of water courses)
• Contract preparation and tendering
• Construction Administration/Inspection
