As you may be aware, as of
November, 2007,
PEIL has merged/aquired by the IBI Group.
PEIL has enjoyed substantial growth in the past 30 years, operating
from
offices in Kitchener, Mississauga,
Hamilton, Brantford,
and Hanover. PEIL provides professional services in
Planning, Engineering, Topographic Surveying, and Landscape
Architecture.
While you may notice our PEIL
brand has now
transitioned to the IBI Group brand, we continue to offer the same set
of
services with the same staff as before.
Through the merger with IBI, we are better positioned to serve our
clients with a broader and greater depth of services. These include
transportation, communications, urban design, and building architecture.
We, at PEIL, are pleased and
excited about
our merger with IBI Group and will continue to provide you with the
same
quality professional services as we have in the past.
Welcome to a new beginning for
PEIL with
the IBI Group.
“ Although this is a
new beginning for
IBI-PEIL, what it really means to you, our clients, associates, and
suppliers
is that we will continue our business as usual, with added value,
providing greater reach world-wide, new
potential and greater dimension of services and expertise.
With this recent collaboration,
IBI-PEIL’s
collective expertise, project size and scope are not a barrier. IBI
compliments
our existing expertise and broadens our capabilities, particularly in
the areas
of transportation, architecture, interior design, urban design, real
estate,
and financial analysis which will greatly assist PEIL clients.
Conversely, we
compliment and provide expanded services to IBI in offering civil
engineering,
water resources, acoustic studies and aggregate services. In all, this
is an
excellent fit and truly a win-win situation for all.”
Phil Beinhaker, chief executive
officer of
the IBI Group, said Planning and Engineering Initiatives Ltd., "has
established a
broadly based professional practice" serving the land development industry and
government
matters. "The integration of this practice with its total complement of 63 professional
staff will
broaden and strengthen the presence of IBI in Ontario," Phil Beinhaker
said in a news
release.
